Nobody makes jelly candies like the French and F. Doucet is famous for their pâtes de fruits. These sugar-dusted fruit jelly candies originate in the Provence region of southern France. The F. Doucet team harvests each fruit at peak ripeness and cooks the pulp in large copper cauldrons with sugar and just a touch of pectin. The result is a soft, exquisite jelly packed with the sweet, tart, and juicy flavor of citrus.
Although traditionally served after dinner or during tea-time, pâtes de fruits are an excellent treat for any time of day.
