Banana Bread with Tahini & Honey

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 8×4-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the wet ingredients: mashed banana, honey, tahini, egg, vanilla, and milk, and mix until the mixture is almost smooth.
  3. In another large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: organic whole wheat flour, ground linseed, toasted sesame seeds, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Arrange banana slices on top of the batter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  6. Bake for 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick or knife inserted comes out almost clean or with just a few crumbs clinging to it.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes, then remove the bread and
    transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serving suggestions:

  • This bread is delicious toasted and spread with extra tahini or any nut butter of your choice.
  • You can also drizzle it with a little of your favorite honey and a pinch of sea salt.

Tip: You can substitute honey with maple syrup, agave nectar, or raw sugar.
